Students of Innocent Hearts of Innokids and College of Education celebrated Holi festival by playing Holi with organic colours and flowers

Jalandhar, March 24, 2024: The little children of Innokids from all the five schools of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Nurpur Road, Cantt.- Jandiala Road and Kapurthala Road) and the students and teachers of College of Education celebrated Holi festival with great joy with organic and flowers. All the children of Innokids came to school dressed in white costumes. The teachers made Holi colours using colourful papers in an artistic manner and played Holi with organic and flowers with them. The children were very excited about this festival. All the children and teachers enjoyed the Holi of flowers. The children sang Holi songs along with the teachers.  The students and teachers of Innocent Hearts College of Education celebrated a colourful carnival-Holi under the program 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat', in which the message of Holi being a symbol of love and gaiety as well as brotherhood and unity was given.

The floral rangoli competition on the theme 'Unity in Diversity' depicted that this festival with its bright colours removes the invisible barriers created by race, caste, creed, religion. All the students and teachers made very beautiful rangolis using flowers and organic colours.

In the 'Natural Eco-friendly Colour-making Competition', the students used wonderful vibrant colours. The participants made beautiful shades from flowers and vegetables in a very amazing way. In the end, the students and teachers enjoyed playing Holi with flowers and organic colours.

Sharmila Nakra (Deputy Director Cultural Affairs) said that Holi is a festival of mutual goodwill and love. This  is a festival of colours  of love that gives the message of brotherhood by breaking the bonds of every religion and caste.
