Students’ fashion show highlights social distancing and wearing masks

Chandigarh: In a unique fashion show, students of Bigboxx Morph Academy, Sector 34 walked the ramp for promoting social distancing and wearing masks on Monday.

There were two rounds of fashion shows. The 1st round theme was western and 2nd round was based on Indo-Western where students walked the ramp in Indo-Western customers and designs while giving a message on how important it is to follow Covid protocols to defeat the virus.

The occasion was Bigboxx Morph Academy, Sector 34 annual function, which saw limited participation of students in show this time due to Covid pandemic.

During the occasion, the students gave a drama performance on the importance of social distancing and wearing masks to combat the virus. Besides solo dance and hip-hop,  the students performed ‘Bhangra’ on latest Punjabi peppy hits with much zest and zeal.

Amidst Covid19, many students are getting free training in academy different courses with the help of an VMIT Educational Trust, an NGO, said Anajna Sharma, VP of NGO   who has represented India at many IT and Designs Business Summits.
She further said that Covid has hit the education process hard. Many students and teachers are forced indoors due to the coronavirus-induced lockdowns, schools, educational institutions, policymakers, and NGOs adapted to using digital means to impart education.

Addressing students during the occasion, Ajay Sharma, CEO  of Morph Academy said that  we have introduced a new online course like beauty & wellness, graphics and web design, fashion designing , interior designing , animation and video editing and other skilled courses. After passing 12th class from any subject, students can go for a professional degree and diploma course in the creative field. These courses are for those students who want to build their career in the skilled design industry, he informed.

At the end of the show the students were given awards and certificates for their achievements and good work.
