Students and faculty member of KMV attend Summer University Course in Universities of Hungary

Jalandhar: Recently, students as well as faculty members of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (KMV) have been granted Bilateral State Scholarships 2021 for Summer University Courses in Hungary. Four students of M.A. (Psychology)namely Jagriti Nagpal, PranavcheetKaur, Amandeep Kaur and Shreya Dogra along with one Faculty Member named Dr. Sharanjit Kaur have been granted this Scholarship to attend Summer Course in the prestigious Universities of Eotvos Lorand University, Budapest & University of Szeged, Hungary. The classes for this course have commenced. In these courses, the scholarship holders are gaining knowledge about Hungarian language and its culture. These classes are being conducted in such a way that it creates inspiring and interactive learning experiences for the students. In the Cultural lectures, information on the traditions prevailing in various geographical areas of Hungary is given. This International program has given an opportunity to gain valuable global exposure and holds potential for academic and career development of the students. The scholarship included participation in the courses free of charge as well as a stipend consisting of a supplement, an accommodation and meals. 

Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that we foster global competencies in our students through various collaborations, academic tie-ups and student exchange with many prestigious US, European and Canadian Universities and colleges. We also have international partnerships with Chatham University, USA, Boston University , USA, Eotvos Lorand University, Hungary and over the years the students have availed from many beneficial programs. It is by dint of these international programs that KMVites have frequently visited universities like Harvard University and even got admission in various acclaimed US Universities. Many KMViteshave got admission in foreign universities like Boston University,USA all because of the global exposure gained by them through the exceptional international programs run by KMV.
