Jalandhar, October 31, 2013: Agitated over the new Rent Act enacted by the Punjab Government for the last four days, members of District Bar Association, Jalandhar has now decided to call a meeting of the presidents of all over Punjab State's District Bar Associations on November 1 in order to protest the transfer of powers of Rent Controller to the Sub-divisional magistrates (SDM) instead of Rent Controller (Judicial Courts).
