Strict Action to be Taken against Unauthorized Colonies: DC Sachin Gupta
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that the District Administration is taking stringent action against unauthorized colonies being developed in both urban and rural areas of the district. It has come to the notice of the Administration that in certain areas, colonies are being developed without obtaining the mandatory licence/CLU/NOC, which is illegal as per prescribed norms.

Rohtak, December 15, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that the District Administration is taking stringent action against unauthorized colonies being developed in both urban and rural areas of the district. It has come to the notice of the Administration that in certain areas, colonies are being developed without obtaining the mandatory licence/CLU/NOC, which is illegal as per prescribed norms.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that legal action is being initiated by the concerned departments in accordance with the law. Sub-Registrars have been directed not to register or execute any sale deed, agreement to sell, full payment agreement or power of attorney in the specified revenue estates and mentioned killa/khasra numbers. All SDMs, Tehsildars and District Revenue Officers have been instructed to strictly ensure a complete ban on registrations in these unauthorized colonies.
DC Sachin Gupta further directed the Executive Engineer, City Division, Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN), to ensure that no electricity connections are released in these areas. The Haryana State Enforcement Bureau has been instructed to maintain strict vigilance at the identified sites and to stop any kind of illegal construction activity.
The District Administration has appealed to the general public to thoroughly verify the legal status of land and colonies before entering into any property-related transaction, so as to avoid future legal and financial complications.

DTP Sumandeep, on behalf of the District Administration, also appealed to citizens to carry out complete legal due diligence before purchasing any property and to refrain from investing in unauthorized colonies. Strict action will be taken against those found violating the rules.
