Street Style and Confidence Take Centre Stage at PCTE Mr. & Miss Punjab 2026 Prelims

Ludhiana, September 30, 2026: PCTE Group of Institutes hosted the preliminary round of Mr. & Miss Punjab 2026 as part of Festaweek 2026, bringing together young participants with a passion for fashion, personality, confidence and self-expression.
This year’s prelims followed the theme “Street Style,” giving participants an opportunity to showcase their individual fashion sense, personality and stage presence. The campus was filled with energy and excitement as contestants took to the stage, presenting their unique interpretations of contemporary street fashion.
Sponsored by Crest Consultancy and Maluka IAS, the pageant continues to provide young talent with a platform to build confidence, develop their personality and showcase their abilities beyond the classroom.
The judging panel comprised Mona Mann, Harpreet Kang and Gurnaaz Kang, who evaluated the contestants on parameters including confidence, personality, grooming, style, communication and overall stage presence.
Speaking on the occasion, Harpreet K. Kang, Dean, International Affairs, PCTE Group of Institutes, said, “Platforms like these encourage students to step forward, express themselves and discover their potential. The confidence and exposure gained through such experiences stay with them well beyond the event.”
A total of 325 contestants participated in the preliminary round, with 25 male and 25 female contestants shortlisted for the upcoming rounds. The prelims marked the first stage of the journey towards the much-awaited Mr. & Miss Punjab 2026 title.
The event concluded on a vibrant note, celebrating the confidence, individuality and youthful spirit of Punjab and setting the stage for the upcoming rounds of PCTE Mr. & Miss Punjab 2026.
