STEMplify STEM Racing India 2026 National Finals at Sharda University
Sharda University, in collaboration with STEMplify, successfully hosted the STEM Racing India 2026 National Championship from 31 July – 2 August at its Greater Noida campus. The three day event brought together over 500 students from 90+ teams across 22 states, showcasing India’s brightest young innovators in the world’s largest STEM challenge.
Greater Noida, August 3, 2026: Sharda University, in collaboration with STEMplify, successfully hosted the STEM Racing India 2026 National Championship from 31 July – 2 August at its Greater Noida campus. The three day event brought together over 500 students from 90+ teams across 22 states, showcasing India’s brightest young innovators in the world’s largest STEM challenge.
The championship featured intense rounds of engineering design, enterprise, project management, verbal presentations, pit displays, and knockout races, culminating in the Pit Lane Walk and Award Ceremony on 2 August 2026. The event was graced by distinguished academicians, industry leaders, and innovators, including Mr. Sanjay Gupta (Chief Development Officer & Global Head of Engineering, L&T Semiconductors), Mr. Mukesh Sharma (Founder Prometheus School), Mr Aishwarya Mahajan (Managing Trustee and President M3M Foundation), and several eminent school leaders and corporate executives.
In a thrilling finale, Team Nightmare from Gurugram emerged as champion and Team Anantam from Noida secured the 1st runner up trophy, earning the honour of representing India at the STEM Racing World Finals at the Singapore Grand Prix 2026. Their victory not only highlights India’s growing presence in global STEM competitions but also reflects the dedication, creativity, and teamwork of the nation’s youth.

STEM Racing India, powered by STEMplify, continues to inspire students aged 9–19 by combining the magnetic appeal of Formula 1® with experiential learning in CAD/CAM design, CNC manufacturing, robotics, AI, and entrepreneurship. With over 12,00,000 students across 58 countries participating globally, the initiative nurtures critical thinking, problem solving, and industry academia collaboration, while driving inclusivity with rising women participation in motorsports.
The National Finals at Sharda University reaffirmed India’s position as a hub of innovation and talent, with the winning teams set to showcase their skills on the global stage. The event was organised and led by Sharda University’s Dr. Vrince Vimal, Dean Strategy (Development and Growth), along with Dr. Sanjeev Maheshwari and Mananjay Kumar, Director IHA Pradeep Sharma, Deputy Registrar Satyam, Lt. Dr. Yashodhara Raj (Assistant Director), and Dr. Rajeev Gupta (Director Admissions) also played pivotal roles in ensuring the success of the championship.
