Staying at home has been a big learning

Here’s what Sony SAB artistes have to say!

Staying at home has been a big learning

Aasiya Kazi (Sharda from Sony SAB’s Tenali Rama)
This period of staying at home has taught to be patient. I never thought our lives would come to a standstill and we would be restricted to staying indoors. Having said that, this break has helped me reboot my mind and has given me a great opportunity to spend time with my family. This is also a lesson for us that how we take our freedom and the well-being of our nature for granted. This phase has enabled me to reflect upon how we need to take care of our Mother Nature going forward. I also eagerly look forward to going back to shoot for Tenali Rama and meet my co-stars and friends.
Dev Joshi (Baalveer from Sony SAB’s Baalveer Returns)
Staying at home has taught me to look deeper within, which has helped me explore my interests and skills which earlier I was not aware of. I have started writing Shayari and poems lately. The biggest thing that I have learnt about humanity is that we are not greater than the Mother Nature and the importance of treating the world around us with care.
This phase has also taught me to appreciate the freedom that we have and the privileges we get in our day to day lives. It has also helped me look into different skills and career alternatives. This is a period of greater learning and thinking for a better future.
Krishna Bharadwaj (Pandit Rama Krishna from Sony SAB's Tenali Rama)
This phase of being locked at home has taught me how grateful we all should be for each and everything in this world, right from breath, food, water, and people around us, humanity and gratitude. I realized that this Earth is not only for humans but for all the creatures created by God. This period has given me the time to take a break and be thankful for the people around me and connect with my family more. This break from my fast-paced life has been refreshing.
I wholeheartedly appreciate how we all have united during this tough time. The immense hard work by our health care workers, the police force, and our house helps who continue to contribute to our lives. I am grateful for this new normal which has made me appreciate and take joy in the smaller aspects of my life.
Once we fight this period, the first thing I will do is to book a flight and meet my parents. I miss them a lot. I look forward to the refreshing start and witness enthusiasm in people after this phase.
Gulki Joshi (Haseena Mallik from Sony SAB’s Maddam Sir)
My biggest lesson during this testing phase and being at home is that we live in an illusional world of control but the truth is, nothing in life and nature is in our control. This period has helped me appreciate what I have in life, from having a roof over my end, food on my table and the ability to financially sustain myself where I see people striving so hard to fulfil these basic needs during these challenging times. I am immensely grateful.
As an artiste with a passion for acting, I am looking forward to getting into my uniform and start shooting for Maddam Sir again. I also want to witness how friends and family meet each other after such a long time. I feel it will be a vision to cherish for life.
