“The national and global demand for skilled and qualified tech talent is fiercer than ever before. Recruiters pervasively value tech skills and core knowledge more than your usual theoretical knowledge. As educational institutions, we must de-emphasize the importance attached to strict adherence to subject curriculum. We must aim to nurture talent that can break the conservative cycle of experience being valued over skill. Vocational training and skills development should be the core of every University. Skill competitions such as this guide the budding talent in the most rewarding paths”, Er. Koneru Satyanarayana, Chairman & President, KL Deemed-to-be University said in a press release.

Mr. Konduru Ajay Reddy, Chairman, APSSDC and Mr. Challa Madhusudan Reddy, Advisor, Skill Development Training Department congratulated the winners and encouraged them to focus on winning medals and recognition at global levels. They appreciated KL Deemed-to-be University for stepping forward in supporting the Skill Development Corporation in organizing the event without a flaw. Mr. Shobins Kuriakose, Head, State and Citizen Engagement (South), NSDC advised the students to earn skills and right attitude to handle competitions.
