State Of Art Incubation Centre opened at MSDC Ludhiana

Ludhiana, July 26, 2025: Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, Employment Generation and Skill Development Minister Aman Arora and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) & Chairman of Sun Foundation Dr Vikramjit Singh Sahney today inaugurated a state-of-the-art Incubation Center at the Multi Skill Development Center (MSDC) in Ludhiana, run by the Sun Foundation.

The Incubation Center is a joint initiative of Sun Foundation and Innovation Mission Punjab, aimed at nurturing entrepreneurial aspirations among Punjab’s youth.

The Ministers visited ITI Ludhiana, which has been adopted by Dr Sahney. They also toured all training labs at the MSDC, which is one of the most advanced skill centers in the region, offering free-of-cost skill training and job placements in 15 Job roles including AI, Aviation and Hospitality to over 1,000 youth annually.

Dr Sahney said that the newly inaugurated Incubation Center will become a platform to transform the dreams of our youth into reality. We are not just creating job seekers we are nurturing job creators too. The center will provide end-to-end guidance to budding entrepreneurs including assistance on seed funding, business development strategies, government schemes, market research, mentorship, and financial support mechanisms.

Dr Sahney also said that ITI Ludhiana is the only institute in North India equipped with cutting-edge machinery such as Robotic Welders, 3D Printers, and CNC Machines and at MSDC we are creating Artificial intelligence experts, Cabin Crew and Airport staff, CNC Operators, Progressive Farmers, Fashion Designers, Beauticians etc. without charging any fees from the youth.

Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema lauded the initiative stating that Dr Sahney and Sun Foundation have redefined grassroots impact through world-class infrastructure and visionary execution. The Modern ITI, MSDC and incubation center are a landmark step towards Rangla Punjab.

Minister Aman Arora stated that he is deeply impressed by the excellent infrastructure of ITI Ludhiana and the MSDC which Sun Foundation runs in association with his ministry is not just a training institute it’s a transformation hub providing world-class infrastructure, certified faculty, and guaranteed job placements.
