Chandigarh. December 26, 2025: In the Chandigarh Youth Football League for the State Championship, Vivek FC and St. John's FC registered victories in their respective league matches. In the Under-13 category, Sandhu FC and Saffron Arrows FC also performed brilliantly and secured wins, strengthening their positions. Saturday will be a rest day for the Youth League, and no matches will be played.
In the match played at the Sector-46 Sports Complex, Vivek FC defeated Banyan Tree FC 5-1. Kabir scored a hat-trick for the winning team, scoring in the 9th, 19th, and 23rd minutes. Vihaan and Harshan scored one goal each to seal the victory. Harnoor scored the lone goal for Banyan Tree FC.
In another match, St. John's FC defeated United-39 FC 5-2. Yuvraj, Yash, Vishwamrit, and Rishaan scored one goal each for St. John's, while one goal was an own goal. Vivan and Soham scored for United-39 FC.
In the Under-13 category, Sandhu FC defeated Blue Star FC 4-1. Santosh scored the first goal of the match. Abhidesh, Parth, and Divyug then scored to ensure the team's victory. Dipanshu scored the only goal for Blue Star FC.
Meanwhile, Saffron Arrows FC defeated Rajeshwar FC 1-0 in a closely contested match. The only and decisive goal of the match was scored by Kriday in the 28th minute. The match remained exciting until the end. December 27th will be a rest day for the players.
