Chennai, June 25 (HS): On the occasion of the late VP Singh's birth anniversary, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President MK Stalin offered glowing tributes to him, calling him a "revolutionary leader" who championed the cause of social justice. In a social media post, Stalin stated that Singh and late DMK chief M Karunanidhi had a same purpose of elevating the impoverished.

"On the occasion of former Prime Minister V P Singh's birth anniversary, I pay tribute to a revolutionary leader who was steadfast in his commitment to uplift the backward classes. He boldly championed the cause of social justice, inspiring everyone to declare that "ReservationIsOurRight," he tweeted.

"Thiru VP Singh's legacy is intertwined with the spirit of our leader Thalaivar Kalaignar (Karunanidhi), as they both shared the goal of empowering the underprivileged.
