SPS Apollo Hospital organises Cardiac checkup camp in Sukhmani Enclave

Ludhiana, January 14, 2014: SPS Apollo Hospital Ludhiana a multispecialty healthcare provider of the region as a part of the corporate service responsibility organises a free Cardiac Checkup camp in Sukhmani Enclave Ludhiana. It was the foundation day of the Sukhmani Enclave . More than 500 residents participate in the camp.
A team of Doctors from SPS Apollo Hospitals and Dr K C Mukherjee Head of the Cardio surgery department, Dietician Kamal Sandhu conducted the camp. Team of Specialists doctors provided free patient checkups, Consultations, Examinations, and ECG, Blood sugar tests, counseling to spread Health awareness among the general public. After the camp Dr K C Mukherjee given a brief health talk on How to keep our heart healthy as this is the fastest spreading disease after cancer and AIDS. Dr Mukherjee said “More than 85 % of the local population in Ludhiana is suffering from Cardiac problems because of the bad eating habits, even our pets are having heart problems because what we eat we feed same to our pets.”On the occasion Dietician Kamal Sandhu gave a brief lecture on Healthy diet for healthy heart.
