Sports trials in Khalsa College 

Jalandhar: Trials for sportsperson admissions in Lyallpur Khalsa College for the session 2023-24 will be  conducted  during 13 - 15 June in the playgrounds of the college.

This information was given by the college  Principal Prof.  Jasreen Kaur. Giving details the College Dean Sports Dr SS Bains said that the trials  for Athletics, Basketball, Boxing, Badminton, Cricket, Swimming, Water Polo, Gymnastics and Archery would be held on June 13 whereas on 14 June, trials would  be conducted for Hockey, Kho-Kho, Wrestling, Weight Lifting, Pencak Silat, Wushu, Fencing, Judo, Taekwondo, Rowing, Kayaking, Canoeing, Dragon Boat. On 15 June, trials for events of Football, Karate, Cycling, Baseball, Kabaddi (NS), Tennis, Rugby, Volleyball, Shooting (Rifle & Pistol) and Handball trials would be held.

The interested players were to  report in the college playground in sports kit at 9:00 a.m. on respective dates with their original Academic and Sports achievement certificates, and added that special facilities (like Hostel facility, Mess facility,

Fee Concession and Scholarship) would  be provided to selected players on the basis of their merit.
