“Spiritual Journey of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib” Book Presented to PU VC
Punjab State Information Commissioner, Harpreet Sandhu presented his book titled “Spiritual Journey of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib”, to Panjab University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Renu Vig, at VC Office here today. The book, authored by Sandhu, is dedicated to the 350th Martyrdom Year of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib.

Chandigarh, July 29, 2025: Punjab State Information Commissioner, Harpreet Sandhu presented his book titled “Spiritual Journey of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib”, to Panjab University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Renu Vig, at VC Office here today. The book, authored by Sandhu, is dedicated to the 350th Martyrdom Year of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib.
Prof. Renu Vig acknowledged the book and described it to be a meaningful volume. She applauded the sincere efforts of Sandhu, for compiling the book “Spiritual Journey of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib” at the most appropriate time being the 350th Martyrdom Year of the ninth Sikh Guru. She stated that this book will serve as a pious tribute to the unparallel legacy of the great Guru, revered as Hind Di Chadar, for his supreme sacrifice in defense of religious freedom and human dignity. She described it as a noble endeavour by Sandhu, depicting the life and teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, which will serve as a guiding light, spreading the ninth Guru’s divine message of peace, harmony and sacrifice across communities in Punjab and throughout the nation.
The preface and foreword of the book has been penned by Prof. Pritam Singh, Emeritus Professor, Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom, acknowledgment by Padma Shri Bhai Harjinder Singh Srinagar Wale and message by Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria, President SGPC Harjinder Singh Dhami, and Vice Chancellor Guru Nanak Dev University Dr. Karamjeet Singh. This book, authored by Sandhu, was recently released by Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria at Punjab Raj Bhawan.
