Rohtak, November 12, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta informed that from November 17 to 24, 2025, the Health Department will organize special surgical camps under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana to ensure effective implementation and provide free medical treatment to eligible beneficiaries.
He urged all eligible citizens to take advantage of these special camps at their nearest government hospitals or health centers. Individuals who have not yet obtained their health cards can get their e-KYC done and generate the card on-site. These camps will offer surgeries in general (laparoscopic), ophthalmology, ENT, gynecology & obstetrics, orthopedics (including knee and hip replacement), urology, pediatrics, and other departments under the supervision of specialist doctors.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the main objective of these camps is to increase public access to government hospitals, ensure availability of services under reserved government packages, provide free surgeries to beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, and enhance public awareness about government health facilities.
All services including admission, diagnosis, surgery, medicine, and meals will be provided free of cost to Ayushman Card holders. Beneficiaries must bring their Ayushman Card, Aadhaar Card, or Ration Card. An Ayushman Mitra will be present at every camp to assist with information and support.
