Ludhiana, May 19, 2025: The district administration will organize special camps on May 20 and 21, 2025 to facilitate the revision of electoral rolls for village panchayats where elections are due. These camps aim to ensure that the voter lists are accurate and inclusive, enabling a fair and transparent electoral process.
With the publication of the draft electoral rolls, residents can file claims and objections during these camps. The qualifying date for updating the rolls is May 31, 2025, meaning individuals who will be 18 years or older by this date are eligible to register as voters.
The objections and claims can be filed from 9 AM to 5 PM to assist with new registrations, corrections to personal details (e.g., name, address), and deletions from the voter list.
