Special campaign against drug smugglers initiated

Ludhiana: A Special Campaign against drug Smugglers has been initiated. During this campaign, under Supervision of SSP Vivek Sheel Soni, and  Rajbir Singh SP-D, Ludhiana (Rural), ASI Gursewak Singh, CIA Staff Jagraon along with the police party were present at Village Sudhar, who were under close supervision of Dilbagh Singh DSP D, Ludhiana (Rural). Secret information was received that Gurmail Singh @ Fouji, Baljit Singh R/O Bhamipura and Avjinder singh @ Mintu R/o Sidhwan Bet deals in poppy husk and today they are coming towards Sudhar on their Truck (No. PB-23-J-0595) and Truck (No PB-13-Z-0936). 
At this ASI Gursewak Singh sent message to PS Sudhar to get the case registered. After getting the case FIR dated 17.05.2020 u/s 15/25/61/85 NDPS Act registered at Police Station Sudhar, SI Pyara Singh along with police party conducted nakabandi at Ghuman Chownk Sudhar. During nakabandi accused Gurmail Singh @ Fouji, Baljit Singh R/O Bhamipura and Avjinder singh @ Mintu R/o Sidhwan Bet on their Truck (No. PB-23-J-0595) and Truck (PB-13-Z-0936) were nabbed by the police party and Dilbagh Singh DSP D, Ludhiana (Rural) reached at the spot. After search 02 Qntl. 10 Kgs poppy husk was recovered from them.
Police remand of these accused will be taken as there is a quite possibility that more such links would be exposed during further investigation.
