Special camp of clearance/disposal of NOC cases for ground water abstraction 

Ludhiana: One day Special Camp of Clearance/Disposal of NOC cases for Ground Water Abstraction Ludhiana was organized by CICU in association with Central Ground Water Authority & Department of Industry & Commerce, Punjab.

Upkar Singh Ahuja, President CICU addressed the Industrialists and said that CGWA making efforts to help the industry to get NOC speedily by organizing such camps. CICU pursuing this issue from a very long time to save the industry and most of the industries had applied for Ground Water NOC and applications were pending. Many approvals were given to the industry in this camp.

He also said that various meeting and visits were organized by CICU with concerned Govt. officials, CGWA and Ground water Authorities to resolve the issue. Sh. Ahuja highlighted that such camps will be organized in future.

He also gave suggestions to save the ground water by implementing various techniques like Rain Water Harvesting etc.

Authority for providing very convenient service to the industry.

Sanjay Marwaha, Member, Central Ground Water Board said that CGWA organizing special camps for the industry convenience. He also said that all the issues and suggestion will be takeup with higher authority, so industry can run smoothly.
Anoop Nagar, Regional Director and Mr. Dinesh Tiwari, Scientist-D, CGWA were also present and cleared the industry quarries in this special camp.

Phuman Singh, Rajat Sood, Narinder Bhamra, O.P Bassi, Sanjay Dhiman, Sh. Gautam Malhotra and other senior member of CICU were present.

More than 300 Industrialists were visited.
