Panchkula, September 30, 2019: Tathastu Yog Studio and Dr Varun Khanna, a Dentist and Bharatnatyam dancer/ tutor, presented a two-day series, Art in the Studio, with a Bharatnatyam recital by world famous living legend, Padmashri, Padmabhushan and Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee, Dr Saroja Vaidyanathan.
The 82-year old Guru is also the founder president of Ganesa Natyalaya, New Delhi. The event concluded on September 29.
Dr Varun Khanna and Advocate Harsh Jakhar said, “The event featured a solo performance by Dr Vaidyanathan, a performance by two of her foremost disciples (Debasmita Thakur Bagchi and Gayatri Deka) and Dr Varun, who otherwise is from Panchkula and is pursuing Bharatnatyam under the legend in Delhi.”
Chief Guest of the programme was Miss Bollywood Sensation 2018 semi-finalist and Miss Punjab 2018 finalist Dr Palka Chaudhary and guest of honour was renowned exponent of Kathak, Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee Dr Shobha Koser, who turned 75 recently.
Tathastu_Yog Studio, started by Advocate Harsh Jakhar, aims at providing many facilities for health conscious people under one roof and to provide a platform for events and workshops.
