Jalandhar, August 17, 2019: Ivy World School run by I -League Education organized a special assembly on August 14, 2019 on the occasion of Independence Day.
The programme began with a short skit followed by a patriotic song and a dance. To explain the significance of this historic day, the tiny tots were seen dressed up in costumes representing many freedom fighters like Jhansi ki Rani, Mahatma Gandhi and Jawahar Lal Nehru etc.
The programme came to an end with the National Anthem sung by both teachers and the students reflecting patriotic fervour on the innocent faces of the budding citizens of tomorrow.
It was indeed a day of joy, love and respect for the country and the students urged the audience to make India a better place to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
