‘Soulful Reflections – Celebrating the Spirit and Heritage of Panjab University’, a Table Calendar 2026 released
Panjab University today released its Table Calendar 2026 on the theme ‘Soulful Reflections – Celebrating the Spirit and Heritage of Panjab University’, a visual tribute to the University’s rich academic legacy, cultural vibrancy and timeless architectural heritage.
Chandigarh, January 5, 2026: Panjab University today released its Table Calendar 2026 on the theme ‘Soulful Reflections – Celebrating the Spirit and Heritage of Panjab University’, a visual tribute to the University’s rich academic legacy, cultural vibrancy and timeless architectural heritage.
The table calendar, capturing the living spirit of the campus through soulful photographs and thoughtful design, was released by PU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig, Registrar Prof. Y. P. Verma, Dean Alumni Relations Prof. Latika Sharma, Dr Gaurav Gaur, Centre for Social Work, and Dr Jaspreet Kaur, Department of Botany. The table calendar has been published in association with the Panjab University Alumni Association (PUAA).
The PU Vice-Chancellor, in her message, described the calendar as a reflection of the University’s enduring values, collective memory and commitment to excellence, noting that it celebrates not just spaces, but the soul of Panjab University shaped by generations of scholars and students.
Prof. Y. P. Verma stated that the calendar mirrors the institutional integrity, traditions and shared responsibility that have sustained Panjab University’s legacy over decades.
This is aptly highlighted by Dr Gaurav Gaur and Dr Jaspreet Kaur through the finesse of the visual narratives, reflecting their deep emotional connect with Panjab University. The photographs featured in the calendar demonstrate Dr Gaurav’s keen eye for detail, light and composition, sensitively capturing both the grandeur and subtle, soulful moments of the campus.
The calendar’s elegant layout and thematic coherence reflect the creativity and aesthetic vision of Dr Jaspreet Kaur, who has woven images and reflections into a refined visual journey.
Prof. Latika Sharma emphasised that the release of ‘Soulful Reflections’ marks a meaningful beginning to the year 2026, reaffirming Panjab University’s commitment to preserving its heritage while inspiring future generations. She invited alumni to walk down memory lane through this illustrated treasure.
