Ludhiana, February 27, 2019: Ramneek Singh a disciple of pandit Baldev Raj Verma , the third generation of Indore Gharana enthralled students with her melodious voice at Ramgarhia Girls College, Miller Ganj, Ludhiana on February 27, 2019 during a musical concert organized by Post Graduate Department of Music . Principal doctor Inderjit Kaur, Ranjodh Singh, President, Ramgarhia Educational Council accompanied by the faculty of Music Department extended floral welcome to the eminent guest. Ramneek Singh while inspiring students to feel the soulful music appealed them to preserve rich heritage of Indian Music. She said that it is most important now-a-days to promote Indian Classical Music amongst the young generation. Gian Singh, Tabla Player accompanied the guest during her performance. Appreciating the efforts of Ramneek Singh, Ranjodh Singh said that the guest has a unique style of rendering Shabad - Kirtan in the classical style, her speciality is in the presentation of Vilambit Khayal. Principal doctor Inderjt Kaur added that artists like Ramneek Singh remind us riches of India and Indianess. Giani Bhagat Singh Memorial Award presented to Ramneek Singh Sur-Rang School of Music, Toronto for her contribution to Indian Classical Music. Professor Charanjit Kaur Head, PG Department of Music gave vote of thanks to artist for sparing her valuable time for the students.
