Sony SAB’s Wagle Ki Duniya: Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey creates awareness about the issue of bullying

Sony SAB’s Wagle Ki Duniya - Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey reflects the everyday life of ordinary people by displaying daily life struggles and providing a positive perspective to them. As they continue to create narratives about  common issues, the show is about to highlight a the pertinent problem of a student that they might have encountered at least once in their academic career in an upcoming episode.

Atharva Wagle, who’s the youngest child in the Wagle family will face an uncalled issue where his classmate will be bullied by his fellow mates in the school. Atharva tries to help him in the most unexpected way, along with his best friend, Vidyut. When the issue comes out to his parents, Vandana and Rajesh Wagle, the situation becomes a topic of discussion in the family. This urges them to investigate the ongoing bullying in Atharva's school and how they can support Atharva and his friend. This episode will not only discuss how parents can help their children deal with issues that can cause mental trauma to children, but it will also highlight how children can recognise the wrong doings in their surroundings and act on it. 

How will Atharva Wagle try to help his friend who is being bullied at school?

Speaking about the episode, Sheehan Kapahi shared his views, “Our school is the most influential institution of our lives. It teaches us most of the way of living in this growing world, and also helps us become the individual we aim to be. Bullying is a very common phenomenon, and my parents have always taught me to stand strong against it, if I ever come across it. I am glad we are getting to highlight this issue on television through the show. If my friend or anyone whom I know ever gets into such a situation I would do everything to help them out. In the coming episodes Atharva tries to help his friend who’s being bullied. How he will help his friend to fight against bullies is something to keep an eye on.’’
Speaking about the episode, Sumeet Raghavan shared his views, “Being bullied in school or college is something that many students have experienced at some point in their lives, but what is important, is, how parents recognise it if their children are facing this. A proper education about bullies and how to deal with them is required for students. Rajesh's guidance to Atharva in the upcoming episode provides a different perspective on the entire situation, which is something to look forward to. With an aim to say no to bullying we hope that we gain success in spreading awareness in the viewers”
