As the festive spirit of Navratri celebrates the power, strength and energy of Goddess Durga, Sony SAB’s male actors Manish Wadhwa, Nitin Babu, and Jiten Lalwani open up about the ‘real Shakti’ in their lives. They reflect on the women who have stood by them through challenging times, shaped their journeys and inspired them to keep moving forward. Whether it is their mother, sister, wife or a female co-star, these women have been a constant source of strength and encouragement, reminding them to face life’s challenges with courage and determination.
Manish Wadhwa, who essays the role of Bhishma Pitamah in Hastinapur Ke Veer, shared, “My mother has been my biggest inspiration and the person who has shaped the values I live by. She taught me to respect everyone, be kind and treat people equally, regardless of their background or position. These are lessons I carry with me every day. For me, she is the real Shakti in my life, and I will always be grateful for the values she has instilled in me.”
Nitin Babu who essays the role of Chirag in Pushpa Impossible, shared, “My sister has always been someone I can count on, no matter what. Like any sibling, we have our share of disagreements, but at the end of the day, she is always there when I need her. I admire her for the way she handles things and the strength she shows even during difficult times. For me, that’s what makes her my real Shakti, someone who may not always say much but is always there when it matters.”
Jiten Lalwani who essays the role of Dronacharya in Hastinapur Ke Veer, shared, “For me, the real Shakti in my life is my mother, my wife, my daughter and my mother-in-law. My mother has always been my source of strength, while my wife has been my constant support through every high and low. My mother-in-law, who is a doctor, inspires me with her dedication to caring for others. My daughter brings a curious and inquisitive energy into my life. I love how eager she is to explore new things, be it languages, places, food, singing, dancing or musical instruments. Watching her learn and discover the world inspires me every day. Each of them holds a special place in my heart, and their love, strength and resilience make me a better person..”
