Sony Music launches Lost Frequencies’ remix of Bollywood favourite ‘Kesariya’ due to popular demand

Belgian record producer and DJ, Lost Frequencies got an overwhelming response from an audience of 45,000 for his remix of 'Kesariya’ which was played for the very first time at the annual Sunburn Festival in Goa on 30th December 2022.

Belgian record producer and DJ, Lost Frequencies got an overwhelming response from an audience of 45,000 for his remix of 'Kesariya’ which was played for the very first time at the annual Sunburn Festival in Goa on 30th December 2022. Sony Music, in association with Lost Frequencies, has launched the full version of this remix of Kesariya, due to popular demand.

Played at the festival for the first time, the crowd went gaga over the Lost Frequencies’ remix of the beloved Bollywood track, Kesariya. Key EDM accounts like EMDLI, Indian Ravers, and others appreciated the remix over Instagram. It has already gone viral on social media with different culture accounts posting performance reels too. 

Speaking on the success of the track, Lost Frequencies said, " I've enjoyed nothing more than performing for my Indian friends. Since I was performing in India, I thought it would be fun to surprise everyone a little bit by playing a remix of Kesariya. I wasn't sure how people would respond to this remix, but the audience’s reaction has definitely taken me by surprise! The audience love we received for the track from day one has pushed us to release the full version. I hope to get more love for this track.”

Sharing his thoughts on the launch of the remix, composer Pritam Da added, “Kesariya has won hearts globally and the Remix by Lost Frequencies being released on audience demand is an absolute delight, which tells me people are in love with the song. The remix is already creating a trend over social media, and I hope the audience will shower their love on the full version and make it a huge success globally.”
