Mumbai (Anil Bedag): Emerging Uttarakhand actress Sonam Thakur is all set to take a major leap in her career as she steps into the Bollywood music industry. Joining her in this ambitious journey is noted music producer Anshul Soni, whose company Movement Creations LLP aims to take this project to new heights.
A resident of Dehradun, Sonam Thakur has spent the last four years building her presence in Uttarakhand’s regional hill industry. Now, she is not only evolving as an actress but also carving a new identity as a producer. Her music label “Nati Nation Records,” in collaboration with Anshul Soni’s company, will work on a joint venture featuring several prominent singers.
This ambitious project will feature renowned voices like Master Saleem, Sunidhi Chauhan, Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, Palak Muchhal, Krishna Beura, and Shreya Ghoshal. The music videos will be shot across picturesque locations in Mumbai and Uttarakhand, adding strong visual appeal.
The first release in this series will be the music album “Tu Jahaan Hai Mera,” sung by the acclaimed playback singer Javed Ali. Sonam Thakur will be seen as the lead actress in the video, showcasing a fresh and captivating look. The project is directed by Subroto Karjana, with music composed by Rajiv Roy Chowdhury. Scheduled to begin in May 2026, the project’s choreography will be handled by Shubham Arya, with Moni Thakur as assistant choreographer. Sapna Soni leads marketing, while Rohan Soni heads A&R for the project.
For Sonam Thakur, this is more than just a project—it’s a dream initiative aimed at giving Uttarakhand artists a national platform. Her collaboration with Anshul Soni marks a promising and powerful new beginning in the music industry.
