Sony SAB’s Yaadein continues to bring together emotions, family bonds and unexpected turns as Dr Dev (Iqbal Khan) and Dr Srishty (Gulki Joshi) find themselves facing a difficult situation in Killari. In the upcoming episodes, the Ganesh celebrations in Killari bring Dr Dev and Dr Srishty closer, but an unexpected incident involving Dhruv changes everything between them.
During the Ganesh aarti, Gia (Sehaj Rajput) is teased by a boy, leading Dhruv to throw a stone at him which Dr Dev doesn’t encourage. Dr Srishty is deeply hurt as Dr Dev did not stand up for Dhruv. Dr Dev, however, explains that his concern comes from wanting to protect Dhruv from choosing violence and repeating the path he fears his father may have taken. Dr Dev’s concern is misunderstood by Dr Srishty, who feels he is treating Dhruv differently because he is adopted. The misunderstanding soon turns into a heated argument, leaving Srishty hurt and wanting to leave Killari with Dhruv.
Talking about the upcoming track, Iqbal Khan shared, “This track brings out a very emotional side of Dr Dev and Dr Srishty’s relationship. The moment things are getting better between them there is another misunderstanding. They both see the same situation very differently. Both parents want the best for their child but sometimes they may have very different ways of understanding what is right for them. For Dr. Dev his concern comes from wanting to protect Dhruv but unfortunately his words hurt Dr. Srishty in a way he never intended. Sometimes, one misunderstanding can change everything and this misunderstanding can break his family.”
