Social Awareness March by Students of Orchids - The International School to commemorate the 75th Independence Day

Bengaluru, August 15, 2022: Students from multiple branches of Orchids - The International School (OIS), celebrated 75th Independence Day with patriotic fervor at Church Street, Bangalore. The program commenced with the students conducting the social awareness march as they held up handmade placards which carried various messages on some of the persisting issues in the country which needed attention from society.
 
The students of OIS performed a Flash mob on some of the patriotic songs and a street play depicting the social issues in our society. Every performance was cheered and applauded by the crowd.
 
Prabhakar KS, IAS, the Retired Principal Secretary, was the event's chief guest and appreciated the students' performance.  He gave a motivating speech to students and asked them to be the stakeholders to guard their constitution and contribute their bit to glorifying their school, society, and nation.
 
The celebration culminated with a vote of thanks by Chief Academic Officer, Vijitha Kammath. She appreciated all the students' for their sheer hard work in making the event successful.
