Smart Wonder School & Shemrock Sr Sec School Emerge Winners at Inter-School Painting Competition 2026–27

Chandigarh, April 25, 2026:The New Public School came alive with enthusiasm, creativity, and intellectual brilliance as the school proudly hosted the much-anticipated Inter-School Painting Competition 2026–27, the first event of its annual Eternal Echoes series centred on the vital theme of water conservation. Over thirty schools from the tri-city participated with great zeal.

The event commenced on a harmonious note with a soulful welcome song by the school choir, setting an inspiring tone for the day. The gathering was graced by Principal Manish Hablani, judges Satish Kaushik and Ishwar Chander, along with teachers, parents, and students.

A prize distribution ceremony for The Big Aunty Maths Quest, held in memory of Founder Principal Late Ms. Shanta H. Singh, was also conducted. In the Junior Category (Classes VI–VIII), Shivam Yadav from D.C. Montessori Senior Secondary Smart School, Manimajra secured first position (₹5,000), followed by Sparsh Singhal of Saupin School, Chandigarh (₹3,000). Sarang Raghuvanshi of St. Joseph’s School, Chandigarh and Dhairyansh Durgesh of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh shared third place (₹2,000 each). In the Senior Category, Aman Garg from St. Joseph’s School, Sector 44, Chandigarh secured first position (₹7,500), Tanish Juneja of Bhavan Vidyalaya stood second (₹5,000), and Aaryav Bhardwaj of Ajit Karam Singh International Public Smart School, Chandigarh secured third place (₹3,000).

The Inter-School Painting Competition added vibrancy to the event, showcasing powerful artistic expressions on water conservation. In the junior category, Abhiroop Singh Arora of Smart Wonder School, Sector 71, Mohali clinched first position, followed by Aarush Chamoli of St Soldier International School, Mohali in second place. Manvir Kaur of AKSIPS Smart School, Sector 41 secured third position, while Kiranbir Kaur of Guru Harkrishan Model School, Sector 38, Chandigarh received a consolation prize.

In the senior category, Gurnoor of Shemrock Senior Secondary School, Sector 69, Mohali bagged first position. Asreet Kaur of Smart Wonder School, Mohali secured second place, while Aditya Bhardwaj of Guru Nanak Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Sector 30 B, Chandigarh stood third. Jyotsaroop Kaur of St Soldier School, Mohali received a consolation prize.

The results reflected exceptional creativity and a strong sense of environmental responsibility among participants. The event concluded with a Water Conservation Pledge led by Gauhar Saini of Class IX, inspiring everyone to turn awareness into action. A heartfelt vote of thanks marked the successful culmination of the program.
