Sixth death due to corona in Kangra District

Dharamshala: There is another death reported in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday due to corona infection. A 45-year-old lady of Fareed village of Palampur in Kangra district died in Tanda Medical College this morning.

With the Death of this woman, the death toll of Corona has reached six in Kangra district, whereas the number of Corona deaths has reached 29 in Himachal.

Today’s Corona death of the woman has been confirmed by CMO Kangra Dr. Gurdarshan Gupta.

He said that due to the surgical complication of this woman, she was admitted to Tanda Medical College on August 12. Her surgery was conducted in a private Hospital.

On August 24, her sample was taken for a corona test and was found to be positive. She died this morning.

In the month of August only, 3 deaths are reported from Kangra district due to Corona.

In Himachal so far 29 deaths have been reported due to this deadly virus. Seven people died in Mandi District due to Corona infection, six each in Kangra and Solan districts, four in Hamirpur, three in Chamba, two in Shimla and one in Sirmaur.

So far 17 Corona positive have died in August this month in the state. Within the last ten days, 12 deaths were reported of Corona in the state. Even yesterday, an elderly man died in Nalagarh in Solan. The elder was a driver in a private hospital.
