Six, including five close contacts of a Railway Official, test Corona positive

Ferozepur: District Ferozepur has reported six new Corona positive cases on Wednesday including five close contacts of a Railway official and one fresh case. 
Divulging the details, Additional Deputy Commission (General) Mr. Ravinder Singh said that samples of a few close contacts of deceased railway officer were taken out of which five samples have been reported positive on Wednesday. The ADC further added that the district administration has immediately invoked the medical protocol fixed by the state government to check the spread of the virus. 
Pointing out further, SDM Ferozepur Mr. Amit Gupta said that the contact tracing and screening was being done by the Health Officials.
He said that the district administration Ferozepur would leave no stone unturned to contain this disease in the district adding he called upon people to strictly follow the norms fixed by the state government including social distancing, wearing masks and hand washing so that this virus could be kept at bay.
