Jalandhar, February 17, 2019: Senior BJP leader Manoranjan Kalia has condemned the statement of Punjab Cabinet minister Navjot Singh Sidhu. In a statement here today, he said Sidhu has condemned only the terrorist attack on CRPF and not Pakistan which is the epi-center of terrorism.
Kalia added Sidhu’s friend Imran Khan, the Prime Minister of Pakistan has also not condemned this dastardly act of terrorism. “It is pertinent to note that Imran Khan and Former ISI Chief Hamid Gul have formed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Party, whose open support to terrorist outfits is an open secret”, said Kalia, adding that had Sidhu respected the charged sentiments of people of India against Pakistan, he would have called his friend Imran Khan to express the resentment on the cowardly act of Pakistan who is aiding and abetting terrorism but Sidhu has not done so and preferred friendship to national sentiments.
Kalia further said the refraining of Congress leaders Sunil Jakhar and Randeep Singh Surjewala from commenting upon the statement of Sidhu amounts to acquiescence for which the people of India will not forgive.
Kalia demanded that India should declare Pakistan a Terrorist State.
