Siddharth Bhutoria, Whole-Time Director, RTS Power Corporation Ltd., takes over as President, IEEMA

Kolkata, September 29, 2026: The Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA), the apex association representing the Indian electrical, industrial electronics and allied equipment industry, announced the appointment of Siddharth Bhutoria, Whole-Time Director, RTS Power Corporation Ltd., as its President for the year 2026-27. Bhutoria succeeds Vikram Gandotra, Director (Industry & Policy), Siemens Ltd., who served as President during the 2025–2026 tenure. 
Hartek Singh, Director, Hartek India Private Limited, has taken over as the President-Elect. Amit Kumar, Vice President & Head, MPS, Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd., has been elected as the Vice-President.
Siddharth Bhutoria, the incoming President, shared his vision, “"I am honoured to lead IEEMA during this period of transformation. Our Vision 2036 rests on three pillars: Go Global, Build Policy Muscle, and Build Capability. As part of this vision, we will be opening overseas offices in the US and Europe, rolling out trade facilitation services, and building centres of excellence and skill centres to strengthen quality, safety, reliability and innovation. Our aim is to lift India's electrical equipment exports from $14 billion to over $60 billion. With my presidium colleagues and the industry behind us, I am confident we will scale new heights together."
Hartek Singh, the newly elected President-Elect, emphasised IEEMA’s commitment to strengthening regional connections and growing its membership. As the Chairman of ELECRAMA 2027, he also highlighted the goal of delivering the biggest edition of the world's largest electrical show. "I am excited to assume the role of President-Elect of IEEMA. “It is a privilege to serve IEEMA and lead the responsibility of ELECRAMA simultaneously. My focus will be on promoting technical capabilities and regional connections within IEEMA. Our membership is our greatest asset, and we will ensure that all members—large, medium, small, or micro are engaged in a more meaningful and relevant way. I will also work to strengthen IEEMA's focus on renewables, green energy, and the new energy segment in line with the government's focus. As the chair of ELECRAMA 2027, I am committed to delivering a truly spectacular experience at the world's largest electrical show."
Newly elected Vice-President, Amit Kumar, has been spearheading special initiatives of IEEMA. While being elected, he expressed that “It is an honour to assume the role of Vice President of IEEMA. This year, our objective will be to strengthen IEEMA's divisions, and our work with standards-making as well as augment testing infrastructure.”
