Ludhiana, May 23, 2026: International Para Table Tennis player Shubham Wadhwa from Ludhiana expressed heartfelt gratitude to the district administration and others for generous sponsorship, which played a crucial role in his recent success as Silver Medal at the ITTF World Para Elite Taipei City 2026 in Mixed Doubles and Bronze Medal in Men’s Singles (Class 3).
Wadhwa, a 10-time National Gold Medalist with 17 international medals to his credit, is currently ranked World No. 11 in mixed doubles and Asian No. 4.
“I am deeply thankful to the Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain, Assistant Commissioner Payal Goyal, Dewaker Jain from Prime Steel Processor, Harleen Kaur from Act Humane Foundation, Secretary Red Cross Society Navneet Joshi for their unwavering support. This encouragement gave me the confidence and resources to compete at the highest level in Spain" Wadhwa stated. He added that the support has strengthened his resolve ahead of major upcoming events, including the Asian Games and the World Championships in Thailand.
