Jalandhar, August 26, 2013: Shree Krishan Utsav Committee today took out Shoba Yatra in view of the coming festival of Janmashtami with full pomp and show here today.
The shobha yatra began from Sodal Mandir. It passed through various areas across the city. People gave rousing grand reception to the shobha yatra.
Artists were duly dressed up. Eatables and drinking water was distributed to the participants on the way by the shopkeepers and others.
Among others, the organising committee chairman JB Singh Chaudhary and pesident Manohar Lal Mahajan participated in the shobha yatra. The committee members, local political, religious and social leaders also participated.
