Show of Strength by Gorkha leader Ravinder Rana in Dharamshala

Dharamshala, September 10, 2017: In view of the forthcoming Vidhan Sabha election, a road show, Jan Ekta Rally was taken out in Dharamshala today in support of the prospective candidate of the area, the Gorkha leader Mr Ravinder Singh Rana.
The rally attracted a large number of people from Gorkha and other communities reflecting his popularity. The road show with a number of vehicles including two wheelers, cars, jeeps began from city centre Kotwali Bazaar Chowk and passed through various bazaars and localities of the town amidst the sound of drums and shouting of slogans in support of Mr Rana and converged into a public meeting at Narwana, at the edge of Dharamshala Vidhan Sabha constituency area.
Speaking there at a public meeting Ravinder Rana said, “Jan Ekta rally was aimed at creating awareness among the common people to choose and elect an efficient, dedicated, hardworking and loyal person with clean image.”
Mr Rana said that the present government could not capitalize the declaration of smart city and second capital of the state for its all round development because of the political rivalry and lack of initiatives by the peoples representatives.
Rana added, “No final decision has been made during past eight years for the establishment of Central University in Dharamshala due to political tussles, the condition of the zonal hospital in the town has not only been declined but deteriorating day by day gasping for basic facilities and specialists, local and tourists are facing great problems due to lack of parking facilities, and youth are frustrated due to unemployment problems.” He promised to work in the direction to solve these burning issues if chosen.
Rana disclosed that he has sought ticket from the main political parties (Congress and BJP) and he will again go to his supporters for chalking out future strategy in case he does not get the ticket.
