Ludhiana, April 13, 2022: Film, “Baisakhi 2022 - The Zeal of Punjabi’s” depicting the mesmerizing scenes of the golden wheat crop fields of Punjab Agricultural University and around Ludhiana District was today released and previewed during a special show by Chief Commissioner Income Tax Parneet Sachdev, along with Kulwant Sidhu MLA Atam Nagar, Madan Lal Bagga, MLA Ludhiana North, Daljit Singh (Bhola) Grewal, MLA Ludhiana East Ludhiana, Dr. T.S. Riar, Director Communication PAU, Dr Anil Sharma, Assistant Director PAU and Faculty members of PAU at Communication Center, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. The film has been directed by eminent Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu.
Parneet Sachdev, Chief Commissioner Income Tax after preview of Documentary stated that it is indeed a great endeavor by Harpreet Sandhu to highlight the relevance of vibrant golden wheat crops with the onset of Baisakhi Festival.
MLA Atam Nagar, Ludhiana, Kulwant Sidhu, Madan Lal Bagga said that Harpreet Sandhu, who has a passion of capturing Nature through his lens has beautifully portrayed the Wheat Crop fields of Punjab Agricultural University and other few location around Ludhiana, which will definitely encourage citizens of Ludhiana especially youngsters to come closer to nature.
Dr. T.S. Riar, Adl Director Communication Punjab Agricultural University congratulated Harpreet Sandhu for initiating such an innovative concept and highlighting the importance of Baisakhi Festival which has multifaceted significance within large farming community of Punjab. He further stated that this Documentary will certainly inspire people of Ludhiana to look at nature as Devine presence of the Creator and have loving relation with it.
