Shoolini University Ranks #4 in India and Among Asia's Top 160 in THE Asia University Rankings 2026
Shoolini University has been ranked #4 in India and #158 in Asia in the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings 2026, which evaluated 929 universities across 36 countries and territories.
Dharamshala, April 25, 2026: Shoolini University has been ranked #4 in India and #158 in Asia in the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings 2026, which evaluated 929 universities across 36 countries and territories. Among 128 Indian institutions ranked, Shoolini is #1 private university in North India and one of the very few private universities nationally to feature at this level. informing this Prof. P. K. Khosla, Chancellor, Shoolini Universitysaid, “This milestone marks a significant step forward from our position last year, at #5. It is particularly encouraging to see Shoolini placed among leading institutions in India, alongside premier names such as the Indian Institute of Science and IIT Indore, and among very few private universities at this level,”
The result represents a step forward in India rank, from #5 in 2025 to #4 this year
He added that Shoolini's performance in Research Quality ,its Faculty and students have collectively filed over 1,900 IP portfolio, and the university holds the #1 position in Asia for Citations per Paper- a metric that reflects the depth and relevance of its published research, not just its volume.
Published by Times Higher Education (THE), the Asia University Rankings are widely regarded as a global benchmark for research-intensive universities.
