Surya Namaskar
Surya Namaskar is the best yoga has to offer as far as the poses are concerned. It works on the whole body especially on the big muscle group. A beginner can start with a few rounds of it and gradually increase the number of rounds. It helps to lose weight.
Warrior Pose

If you have gone overboard with the feasting. Then, besides the exercising follow a detoxification programme, Which will give the digestive system a rest while still nourishing the body.
Drink 2-3 glasses of warm water, first thing after waking up.
Eat fruits for breakfast-any fruit any amount, for example a large of papaya or two apples
Green tea, 15 minutes after fruits
Around 11 am a different a single fruit
Between 12 noon and 1 pm one glass of a green smoothie (blend green vegetables such as broccoli, kale, spinach and lettuce and a dash of taste either grapes or pineapple or apple)
At 4 pm single different fruit eg Guvava, Pear, Apricot, Banana, Pomegranate
At 6 pm another glass of same green smoothie
At 7.30 a bowl of homemade lentil soup with chunky steamed vegetables in it.
Repeat this diet for a week, vary the fruits and smoothies and soups.
This detox eliminates heavy ingredients such as non-vegetarian foods, eggs, milk, milk products and nuts to give a break to your system from heavy carbohydrates.
