Sharda University signs MoU with Queensland University

Sharda University, Greater Noida signed a MoU with Queensland University to promote academic partnership. During the MoU ceremony, Prof. Rongy Li, Deputy Vice Chancellor, University of Queensland; Thoa Harring, Manager, Strategy & Partnership, University of Queensland; Dhruba Jyoti Malkhand, Senior Country Adviser, University of Queensland; visited Sharda University. The MoU was signed for courses in Business, Economic and Commerce for undergraduate programs in which students of Sharda University will get an opportunity to visit Queensland University. As a part of this both the universities will share knowledge through various webinars, seminars, workshops etc which will be conducted regularly as well as online mode.

Addressing the gathering, PK Gupta, Chancellor, Sharda University stated “this MoU will be beneficial for students for both the institutions. This partnership will provide new opportunities which will contribute to nation building. Sharda is delighted to partner with a great institution like Queensland University”. The partnership will not focus on the education aspect but also the students will be able to know about each other’s culture, averred Gupta.

Prof. Rongy Li, Deputy Vice Chancellor, University of Queensland said this agreement is the beginning of a mutually beneficial relationship. We invite the management, faculty, and students of Sharda University to visit our campus in Australia. Prof. Rongy explained that in today's time it is necessary that students should get global exposure, only then they will be able to be global future leaders. Each MoU should be goal oriented and hence there is a need to devise new strategies to get the best result out of the collaboration.

During the program, Dr. Sibaram Khara, Vice Chancellor, Sharda University; Dr. Parma Nand, Dean Academic, Sharda University, Vivek Gupta, Registrar, Sharda University; Dr. Raju Voleti, Director, Sharda Global Academic Alliances were also present. On the occasion members of the high level delegation also interacted with the students of Sharda.
