Chandigarh, January 23, 2014: The Punjab Government has slightly changed the schedule of flag unfurling ceremony of Republic Day. Now, Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, PWD Minister, Punjab would unfurl the National Flag at Sri Mukatsar Sahib instead of Barnala.
Similarly, Parkash Chand Garg, Chief Parliamentary Secretary would unfurl the National Flag at Barnala instead of Sri Mukatsar Sahib. Whereas at Dera Baba Nanak, SDM would unfurl the National Flag as Harmeet Singh Sandhu, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, would not be able to present at the occasion at Dera Baba Nanak due to certain urgency.
