Mohali, November 27, 2025: Shalby Hospital Mohali has introduced its state-of-the-art Robotic Joint Replacement System, bringing next-generation, highly precise and minimally invasive joint replacement surgery to the region. The advancement is expected to significantly benefit patients across Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and the Chandigarh Tricity.
The new technology enables AI-guided, patient-specific knee and hip replacements with accuracy measured in fractions of a millimetre. This precision improves implant alignment, reduces surgical trauma, minimises complications and supports faster recovery with greater long-term implant durability. Former Punjab Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
