Ludhiana, August 28, 2013: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president Avtar Singh Makkar has strongly condemned Neelam Dubey, the spokesperson for Asaram Bapu for her alleged objectionable tirade against the Sikh's first master Guru Nanak Dev.
Addressing a press conference here today, he said the Dubey’s  remarks were “highly condemnable” and these could never by tolerated.
Makkar said how could, Neelam Dubey compare Asaram Bapu with the Sikh Gurus.
He told that the SGPC had already lodged a complaint with the police against Dubey at Amritsar, seeking registration of a case against her for hurting the religious sentiments of Sikhs.
Makkar said they wanted stern punishment for Dubey.
He told that they never “excuse” Dubey for her remarks against the Sikh Gurus.
