Chandigarh, February 17, 2026: Seven days Yoga Camp concluded today at Government Home Science College, Chandigarh, marking the successful culmination of a rejuvenating wellness initiative organized for NSS volunteers from February 10-16.

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 150 NSS volunteers who actively engaged in daily yoga sessions aimed at enhancing their physical, mental and emotional well-being. Throughout the week, volunteers practiced various asanas including Tadasana, Paschimottanasana, and Sethu Bandhasana. They were also guided through pranayama techniques such as Brahmari, Anulom Vilom, and Kapalbhati, which helped improve concentration, inner calmness and respiratory health.

The camp created a positive and refreshing environment on the campus, bringing immense relief, alertness and renewed energy among the volunteers. The sessions proved to be highly energizing and enlightening, leaving participants with a deeper understanding of the importance of incorporating yoga into their daily lives.

Principal of the college, Prof. Sudha Katyal, appreciated the sincere efforts of the NSS Unit in organizing the camp. She emphasized that such initiatives significantly contribute to managing stress, depression and anxiety among students while promoting a healthy lifestyle.
