Sensitization Program on agro processing activities organized at Ayali Khurd by ICAR-CIPHET 

Ludhiana, March 31, 2022: Agriculture is the biggest sector in India, yet the sector and its workforce are not valued. The youth are not attracted to this profession as there is neither guarantee of income nor enough institutions that provide jobs. Agro processing includes all the activities within the agricultural food and natural resource industry involved in the production of food and fiber. But due to lack of awareness students/youth are not getting any benefit. Keeping in view the above facts, under ABI project, ICAR-CIPHET Ludhiana conducted Sensitization Program on Agro Processing activities on 30 March 2022 at Govt. Sr. sec. School Ayali Khurd, Ludhiana and 20 students attended the same. Dr. Ranjeet Singh, PI ABI delivered lecture to sensitize the agro processing activities under ABI and motivated them to embrace agro-processing in future.
