Senior Citizens’ Conclave distributed merit cum means scholarships to 117 poor and needy students

Ludhiana, January 13, 2026: Senior Citizens’ Conclave distributed merit cum means scholarships to 117 poor and needy students of 13 Girls’ colleges, one high school and one Senior Secondary School amounting to Rs. 5,30,000 in a ceremony held at Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust. Scholarship distribution is a yearly feature with the aim of serving the marginalized sections of society. Shri Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Chief Patron, Col R K Jain, President, Manjula Jain, Vice President, Col R P Singh, Org Secretary, and N C Jain Jain, Finance Secretary of the Conclave distributed the scholarships. Colonel R K Jain, President welcomed all present in the hall. He also thanked Conclave members for contributing for Scholarships. He also gave out the highlights of the Scholarship Scheme of the Conclave. He also spoke about the charitable activities of the Conclave.

Since its very inception, the Senior Citizens’ Conclave has been actively engaged in the activities for the upliftment of the poor and needy. Senior Citizens’ Conclave is now nineteen years old. It started its journey in the year 2005 and is keenly forging ahead as a successful non-government organization truly wedded to its aims & objectives. The Conclave has mightily succeeded in promoting fellowship, goodwill and mutual respect among its members. Yet it has not lagged behind in serving social causes.

Concluding the function, Colonel Jain lauded and complimented the members of the Conclave for the yeoman service being rendered for the cause of the needy girls students by its members.
