Senior BJP leader Sanjay Tandon on Sunday participated in a blood donation camp and health service initiative organised by Seva Bharati Chandigarh at Seva Sadan, Sector 29, on the occasion of Hindu Samrajya Dinotsav. He later joined 'Chabeel Seva' programmes in Sector 24 and Daddumajra, reaffirming the importance of selfless service and community welfare.

Chandigarh, June 28, 2026: Senior BJP leader Sanjay Tandon on Sunday participated in a blood donation camp and health service initiative organised by Seva Bharati Chandigarh at Seva Sadan, Sector 29, on the occasion of Hindu Samrajya Dinotsav. He later joined 'Chabeel Seva' programmes in Sector 24 and Daddumajra, reaffirming the importance of selfless service and community welfare.
Tandon said, "Such service initiatives not only provide relief to people but also make the bonds of brotherhood and mutual respect in society stronger. We should all come together to  strengthen the spirit of selfless service." 
At the blood donation camp, free dental check-ups, eye examinations and other healthcare services were provided to people from different sections of society. Tandon interacted with blood donors, appreciated their noble contribution, and encouraged more people to come forward for blood donation.
"Blood donation is one of the greatest acts of service. Every unit of donated blood has the potential to save precious lives. Such initiatives inspire society to embrace compassion, responsibility and humanity," Tandon said.
He congratulated Seva Bharati Chandigarh President Rajendra Jain, General Secretary Raj Kumar Sharma and all the dedicated volunteers for organising the inspiring programme. 
Later in the day, Tandon participated in 'Chabeel Seva' organised by Gupta Agencies in Sector 24, where he served sweetened cold water to devotees and passers-by amid the scorching summer heat. He also joined another 'Chabeel Seva' organised by the Kashyap Rajput Samaj in Daddumajra, and actively took part in the service activities alongside members of the community.
Speaking on the occasion, Tandon said that serving thirsty people during the summer reflects India's rich cultural heritage and enduring tradition of selfless service.
"The teachings of our revered Gurus inspire us to dedicate ourselves to humanity, compassion and social harmony," he said. 
Tandon extended his heartfelt congratulations to the organisers, volunteers and all those associated with both programmes for their commendable efforts. He urged citizens to actively participate in social service activities and continue working together for the welfare of society and nation-building.
