Chandigarh, June 26: Senior BJP leader Sanjay Tandon today had a warm and cordial meeting with Governor of Chhattisgarh Ramen Deka at Punjab Lok Bhavan during his visit to Chandigarh.
Describing the interaction as a deeply emotional and memorable moment, Tandon said that the meeting was much more than a courtesy call, as it brought back cherished memories of his family’s long-standing association with Chhattisgarh.
“Chhattisgarh holds a special place in our family’s heart. My father, late Balramji Das Tandon, had the honour of serving as the Governor of Chhattisgarh. During my conversation with Hon’ble Governor Ramen Deka ji, many memories of my father’s tenure, his dedicated service, and his connection with the people of Chhattisgarh came alive once again,” Tandon said.
He added that the discussion reflected the shared values of public service, commitment towards people, and the strong emotional bonds that connect leaders with the communities they serve.
On the occasion, Sanjay Tandon, presented a copy of the book ‘Sunrays for Wednesday’- which is jointly written by Sanjay Tandon and his wife Priya Tandon to the Chhattisgarh Governor. Tandon also presented a copy of the Coffee Table Book on Gully Cricket Season 3 to the Hon’ble Governor.
Welcoming the Governor to Chandigarh, Tandon said, “It was a privilege to welcome Hon’ble Governor of Chattisgarh Ramen Deka ji to Chandigarh. I express my heartfelt gratitude to him for this warm and memorable interaction.”
