Jalandhar, April 30, 2025: P.G. Department of Computer Science and IT, Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, organized an insightful seminar on “Unreal Engine and 3D Workflow” under the Alumni Tech-Talk Program.
The session was conducted by Jugraj Singh, an alumnus of the department and the Creative Director of Pooniel and Studios, Jalandhar, as well as the Founder of Plan Picture Studios, Mohali. Principal Dr. Suman Chopra, in her message, emphasized the importance of integrating cutting-edge technologies in academic curriculum to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
Jugraj Singh shared his extensive knowledge and expertise on the evolving world of 3D design, covering advanced topics such as 3ds Max, Blender, and Premiere Pro. His interactive presentation provided valuable insights into the practical applications of these tools in the creative industry, giving students a first-hand understanding of real-world workflows. He was accompanied by Vanshpreet, Video Editor. Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Anand, Head of Computer Science and IT department and Director, Alumni Association, spoke about the importance of acknowledging the significance of alumni-led programs in enhancing student learning and professional development. Students of Multimedia, Journalism and Mass Communication actively participated in the seminar, engaging in discussions and asking questions that highlighted their keen interest in the field of 3D modelling and digital content creation. The event was a grand success, fostering a stronger connection between the alumni and current students while providing a platform to explore innovative career opportunities in the creative industry.
Prof Reetika Bhardwaj concluded the seminar with vote of thanks. Dr. Daljit Kaur, Prof. Rajat Kaur, Prof. Onkar, and other faculty members were present during the seminar.
